Every sound no matter the presence or length tells a story. Rather than thinking of myself as merely a Sound Designer or Audio Engineer I think of myself more as a Sound Author creating sonic stories for all audiences to enjoy.

Hearing sound embodies experiences and emotions that other senses lack the ability to define. Many 21st Century businesses absolutely rely on quality audio accompaniment with their products and services. Without a sonic element providing some driving force, beautiful animations seem lifeless and movies lose an emotional connection while characters lose identity. The bottom line is nearly all medias in consumer circulation today require an appropriate sonic accompaniment  to better experience and remember what (it) is.

Sound Author is dedicated to making unique and memorable sound elements to suit your company's needs! My name is Chris Roggow and I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Audio Production from The Art Institute of Colorado. My passion is to contribute to mixed media industries: video game developers, animation companies, movie publishers, marketing firms, and broadcasting organizations (to name a few) with an emphasis in post production audio opportunities. I am confident in my professional abilities operating multiple Digital Audio Workstation platforms: Ableton, Protools, and Logic Pro. Also I am fluent in Adobe programs: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Premier. As well as being well versed in Microsoft Office applications. I am actively seeking employment opportunities in these five massive industries; nevertheless, I am also interested in the vast array of other audio careers available in the marketplace.
